City of Lampasas Water Wastewater Shop

Lampasas, Texas

Brief

Overview

The City of Lampasas was in need of a new facility and space to engage the public when it came to their water and wastewater services. Being that the new facility is located near a neighborhood, the design took into consideration aesthetic and acoustic issues to promote the good neighbor policy of the plant. The materials selection was considered for durability along with noise attenuation and fit for the environment. A manifold was designed for future use so that samples could be taken at the new facility and without the need to traverse the plant to get samples. The facility was provided with a number of design considerations for future growth in capacity and function.

The new water & wastewater shop included 2 shop bays, covered storage, lab, breakroom, restroom with shower and office areas.
