Overview

Mission Hill Park: Where History Meets the Horizon

Perched upon a 10-acre hilltop site of historical significance, Mission Hill Park serves as a landmark destination where the heritage of New Braunfels meets the natural splendor of the Texas Hill Country. The project blends education, history, recreation, and ecology through a dynamic design anchored by a multi-level observation tower, offering sweeping panoramic views from the site’s storied vantage point. Some of the Project Features: (1) a three-story observation tower featuring an integrated meeting space, interpretive exhibits, sweeping views, and public restrooms, (2) an elevated tree canopy walk weaves through the treetops, linking observation decks and inviting visitors to experience the landscape from a soaring new perspective, and (3) thoughtfully curated exhibits throughout the site, and illuminate the historical layers of the land, connecting the community to its past. By honoring its unique topography and cultural roots, Mission Hill Park creates a seamless bridge between community learning and the preserved beauty of the Hill Country environment.
