"He would research the requirements, estimate the costs and guide me through the process of what I could and could not have."

When Pflugerville ISD put out their RFQ for their 2018 bond work, they had a few big projects among a lot of renovation and improvement projects that would need the full attention of experienced Architects and project managers. As these were district wide projects over many campuses, it added a level of complexity due to their messy nature.
Districtwide the kitchens were in need of some facility upgrades to address their age and performance. In our design, we looked at providing improved ADA accessibility, lighting and finishes for better operation and less maintenance. We replaced aging foodservice equipment at some campuses and renovated it with new LED lighting and ceramic tile finishes throughout. As part of our planning and pricing exercise, a prototype of a serving line for elementary was designed for Parmer Lane ES to upgrade them to a level closer to the nwere schools the district is constructing. The district has a real cost on a serving line design that fits with the modern facilities and future bond planning. Kitchen renovation and improvements were across 11 campuses: Brookhollow ES, Delco Primary, Dessau ES, Northwest ES, Spring Hill ES, Caldwell ES, Parmer Lane ES, Dessau MS, Westview MS, Hendrickson HS, and Pflugerville HS.
After our work on these initial projects, they continued to send more and more projects in our direction since, thanks to their satisfaction with our work.
