Williamson County Medic 11 EMS Addition

Round Rock, Texas

Brief

Overview

We designed a new stand-alone addition for the EMS Medic 11 emergency vehicle. The multi million dollar vehicle was parked, in the open, near the existing bays with their fleet of EMS vehicles. The new addition provided needed security along with dedicated power to recharge the vehicle when not in service. As a measure to keep costs down, we integrated the ventilation systems with the bay doors to allow more air flow in emergency conditions when spikes in Texas temperatures might negatively impact the storage of items within the vehicle. The project had a tight deadline and we managed to get it constructed within four months before the funding expired.
